FOUNDERS' STORIES

Dr. Renee Sexton Hirschbuhl
Hi my name is Renee Hirschbuhl. I am a 42 year old woman, wife, mother and Chiropractor.
I have four wonderful children and my husband, Wayne, and I will soon be adopting a baby girl from China. I've been a Network Chiropractor in Southampton, PA, for 18 years.
In May of 2006, after 3 years of emotional hell, I decided it was time to I cut my office hours back to one day a week. I spent the next several months walking, sometimes 12 miles a day! It was an innate need to walk. At first, I didn’t understand why I "needed" to walk so much but it soon became clear that walking was grounding the stress in my body.
It was during this period that the healing of my pain began. I found myself thinking that if MY body and spirit could heal, couldn’t other people receive healing this way too? I visualized a group of friends, church groups, and communities walking together, holding hands, and sharing stories with the same vision of healing and forgiveness. I know that, through reconnection on every level of the human heart and spirit, we can change the vibration level in this country and in the world by simply walking towards that peace.
www.WeAreAllOne.us is another peace project on which Renee is working.
Dr. Karen McGlynn
I am a mother of five, grandmother, wife, daughter, friend, business owner, holistic health practitioner, and advisor.
I began walking 20 years ago as a form of exercise for my physical as well as for my emotional and mental body.
While I am walking and jogging I can bring clarity to issues that I am pondering - either work related, personal, or social - and then finish with a fresh new perspective. I attribute this to the chemical phenomena that takes place in my body while I walk - the grounding of scattered energy by Mother Earth and the meditative principles of letting go and letting the universe fill the void. It allows me to solve dilemmas on the smallest scale to the grandest. I have been able to create business opportunities, family events, and financial accomplishments all by following through on the visions I have had while walking.
