ABOUT THE WALKS
Mission:
Healing Walks are groups or individuals all over the world participating in an “active meditation” that promotes the benefits of tapping into our innate healing consciousness and not focusing on thoughts of dis-ease, sickness or poverty. The Healing Walks is an activity that has evolved from our natural desire to be proactive against disease and suffering all while supporting a positive intention of health, well being and positive change. Participants begin each Healing Walk by wearing the distinctive Healing Walk shirt and considering an issue, crisis or situation in their personal lives or those around them that they would like to see improve. Unlike any other walk, these walkers focus their attention on formulating an action “motto” to create this new intention of healing and well being. When you put on your Healing Walk shirt, you trigger a conscious change. You close your mind to all negativity and only allow in positive, healthy thoughts which set the stage for an abundance of health and well being. What changes would you like to see in your health, your life, your job, your family? It’s reasonable to believe that you can make them happen!
Goal:
We envision thousands of people, wearing the distinctive Healing Walks t-shirt, beginning a walk by connecting to a persistent and emotional picture of what is not working in their job, their health or their lives. As they walk and physically stimulate their body they can reframe this emotional issue into a more positive vision, and a new reality that supports health, well being and positive change. Walkers might focus and commit to such things as “It is reasonable to believe that my legs are getting stronger with each step.”; “It is reasonable to believe that my immune system is fully functional and gobbling up all foreign bodies.”; “It is reasonable to believe that I can work at a job that I enjoy”. As they engage in this activity on a regular basis, they create an atmosphere that will set the stage for positive changes in their lives.
People feel so much more peaceful from this exercise as endorphins are released from the higher brain centers and thus, more positive and appropriate insights come naturally with ease and manifest into reality. Regular walks also support cardiovascular, muscular and bone strengthening as well as metabolic benefits.
There is such beauty in the simplicity of this plan; we can do The Healing Walks any day, everyday, anywhere! What we suggest is a plan that everyone regardless of age, financial, academic or physical status can participate in. All profits raised through the sale of our Healing Walks t-shirts are given to charity.
