The Healing Walks Foundation is unique as it is the only 501c 3 charity that focuses on self empowerment 
AS WELL as providing financial assistance to our local community members that are unable to meet their monetary obligations due to catastrophic illnesses in their family.

The foundation holds several local fund raising events including group Healing Walks and Runs where participants focus on the reality they are working to manifest-not focusing on disease or illness. 

Through personal experience we have witnessed that it is practically impossible to focus on healing when you are paralyzed with financial devastation directly related to that illness.  We have watched people turned away from receiving medication that would allow their healing process to be more bearable; families torn apart by the loss of a spouse’s income and catastrophic medical bills.  This is happening in our back yard and it is quite clearly our responsible to step up and assist our neighbors however we can no matter how difficult our own situations may appear.

Our recipients shall remain anonymous however we can tell you we have assisted with funds for meals, a dream wish for a terminally ill child, living provisions for single parent families and assistance for out of pocket expenses for a family where both adults were laid off while battling breast cancer.
